I have been in love with Audrey Hepburn since I first saw her whizzing through the streets of Rome with short hair and a Vespa. Her iconic role in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" made no less of an impact on me and I currently have not one, but two posters of her on my dorm wall. Even before I loved her though, I have loved food. So, I decided to play matchmaker and combine the two. Here is the result: 10 recipes that will remind you that nothing can hurt you in Tiffany's

1. Decent Coffee

mocha, cappuccino, espresso, coffee
Jocelyn Hsu

First things first: Holly Golightly understood the restorative power of a good cup of joe. She sips from one while staring at Tiffany's sparkling window displays, and with the four methods described in this article, even you in your dorm can learn to make a cup of coffee that Holly would be proud of.

2. Breakfast Hot Cocoa

goody, ice, candy, whipped cream, hot chocolate, coffee, sweet, milk, chocolate, cream
Julia Muro

Although I, a coffee-lover unto death, can hardly bear the idea of not starting my day off with a bitter swig of caffeine, many fine folks do not share that affection. If that's you, fear not. You can still nonchalantly stroll through the city with a piping hot beverage — hot cocoa. This recipe takes 5 minutes and will leave you warm and happy.

3. Breakfast Smoothie

juice, ketchup
Jake Popescu

Okay so eating like Holly Golightly has been going well so far— except summer is around the corner. When it gets hot outside, most people would rather have a cool, refreshing treat than a scalding hot one. TCheck out these smoothie recipes for any flavor palate — each of them only takes about 5 minutes to whip up. Armed with these, you'll be well on your way to sipping glamorously and owning an unnamed cat.

4. Mini Nutella Croissants

croissant, pastry, sweet, dough, jam, bread, bun
Hannah Cooper

Sure, Audrey technically eats a danish in the movie, but she later said she hated them. In her honor, I found a Nutella croissant instead, because no one can resist chocolate. This recipe takes less than 30 minutes and is perfect for when you're on the go in New York, or walking to class, as the case may be.

5. Cinnamon Bear Cub Claw

pudding, dairy product, pie, cream, sweet, pastry, cake
Kathleen Lee

If you're having a lazy Saturday and you want a breakfast pastry you can savor in front of Tiffany's, this recipe is for you. It takes an hour in total to prep and cook these beauties, but it's so worth it when you bite into your first buttery, flaky, cinnamon pocket of joy.

6. Homemade Biscotti

espresso, coffee, tea
Julia Rosenbaum

If you have 73 extra minutes on your lazy Saturday morning, don't be afraid to try your hand at making these homemade biscotti . They were designed to be dipped in coffee and they fit in well with the enchanting, all-black-wearing city-dweller aesthetic. Holly Golightly surely nibbled on these when she wasn't engraving Cracker Jack rings.

7. Tiffany Blue Sangria

alcohol, cocktail, wine, ice, juice, sweet, champagne
Susanna Mostaghim

If you want to follow the example of Mag Wildwood and all the other guests at Holly Golightly's party, there's no better drink to indulge in than Tiffany blue sangria. You'll remember what good taste you have with every sip. This recipe takes 15 minutes and will bring your Instagram to the next level.

8. Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich

cheese, lettuce, egg, bread, sandwich
Shalayne Pulia

If you followed Mag Wildwood's example all the way, this is the recipe for you. It boasts an amazing array of ingredients, from hash browns to goat cheese, all contained within two Eggo waffles. Although it's admittedly less chic than a pastry, it makes a wonderful hangover cure and pairs quite well with Holly Golightly's classic shades.

9. Tomato Gazpacho

soup
Helena Lin

Holly Golightly never eats tomato gazpacho in the film, but she does frequently visit her friend, Sally Tomato, in Sing Sing where she receives "weather reports" from the old mob boss. This tomato soup will keep you cool under pressure and remind you that "snow flurries are expected this weekend in New Orleans." It also takes only 5 minutes to make and looks adorable in a mason jar.

10. Coffee Popsicles

dairy product, milk, chocolate
Jackie Kuczynski

Last but not least, if you're trying to hearken back to the childhood Holly Golightly was robbed of, or you're just trying to get your caffeine fix in in an exciting, new way, these popsicles are just what you need. Although they take longer to make because you have to freeze them, they will increase both your cool and chill factors by 100 percent. That's a number even Sally Tomato can get behind.

Holly Golightly's chic style and endless devotion to Tiffany's have become a major touchstone in pop culture. You can capture some part of her je ne sais quoi and the "quietness and the proud look" of Tiffany's by trying these dishes (combined with sunglasses and a little black dress, of course).
