Listen, we’re all friends here, so let’s be honest with each other. You love pumpkin spice shit. It’s okay, I do too. So stop lying to yourself and hop on this recipe immediately. The important part here is really the pumpkin spice simple syrup, AKA the life-giving elixir of fall. You can use the syrup wherever you’d typically use liquid sweetener  like in coffee drinks (duh), mixed into oatmeal, and even brushed between cake layers. But the real trick is to use it in your booze.

You can be fancy as f*ck and make a margarita (like the one at Broadway Bites last year that blew our minds), go the boozy-PSL route, or put in minimal effort and make this vodka soda. You’ll get the same results no mater how you use it: pumpkin spice wasted.

Pumpkin Spice Vodka Soda

    Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz vodka
  • 2 cup sparkling water

  • Step 1

    Bring water, sugar, pumpkin puree, and spice to a boil in a saucepan.

  • Step 2

    Reduce heat and simmer until the mixture becomes syrupy.

  • Step 3

    Once the syrup is cooled, combine vodka, sparkling water, and pumpkin spice syrup to taste.

    If you’re feeling extra bougie, rim your glasses with sugar before serving. Divide mixture into three glasses and get down with your spooky self.
